چکیده

The study was conducted to determine the insecticidal and behavioral effect of essential oils (EOs) extracted from three lavender cultivars, Hemus, Raya Yubileina, against adult stage Sitophilus granarius (L., 1758) (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) under laboratory conditions. contact, fumigant repellent effects plant EOs were investigated possible germination inhibitory on wheat evaluated. samples using a Neo-Clevenger type apparatus where material is subjected hydro distillation. chemical constituents detected by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. experiments conditions in 2019 2020. As result study, it determined that activity changed according cultivars. While LC90 value Hemus as 0.157 µl/ml air, this recorded 0.139 air 0.118 respectively. Six h after treatment, highest 86% at 0.05 µl/cm2 with Yubileina. Main components each cultivar were: linalool (36.0%), linalyl acetate (24.2%) lavandulyl (5.86%); (28.5%), (23.1%) (6.59%); Raya, (42.5%), (30.0%) ɑ-terpineol (5.45%). There no negative any oils. These results show could be useful for control S. .

Insecticidal activity of fatty acid-rich Turkish bryophyte extracts against Sitophilus granarius (Coleoptera: Curculionidae).

The composition of fatty acids and insecticidal effects was performed for the Turkish mosses Dicranum scoparium, Hypnum cupressiforme, Polytrichastrum formosum, Homalothecium lutescens and the Turkish liverwort Conocephalum conicum. All structures were determined by means of gas chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry techniques. The determination of fatty acids was done using a...

Chemical composition and insecticidal activity against Sitophilus zeamais of the essential oils of Artemisia capillaris and Artemisia mongolica.

In our screening program for new agrochemicals from local wild plants, Artemisia capillaris and A. mongolica were found to possess insecticidal activity against the maize weevil, Sitophilus zeamais. The essential oils of aerial parts of the two plants were obtained by hydrodistillation and were investigated by GC and GC-MS. The main components of A. capillaris essential oil were 1,8-cineole (13...
